Boris Kipnis Violin Teacher

Boris is a devoted and passionate violin teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience.  

Lessons are taught in the style of the Russian School of Violin. The Russian School of Violin focuses not only on the love for music, it also focus on  technique of violin playing, quality of sounds, tones production, and expansive repertoire.

Boris is an "advocate"  for maximum naturalness and effortless playing  to achieve best possible result. The goal is to ensure that students play with natural hands to achieve effortless performance, which prevents professional injury. This also encourages students to produce a pure sound from the violin. More violin techniques will be taught as students progress with their repertoire, scales and studies. 

He has prepared students  for ABRSM exams and Trinity College exams at all levels. Boris also assists students to prepare  for entry to Conservatorium of Music in Germany, Austria, USA, and Australia.
